As we head towards the Easter holidays, the Renewal Project is tracking well, ready to take advantage of the site without students and staff as they take a break. 

There have been some significant updates over the month of March as well as work to come over the next few weeks. 
 

The stage 3A works are progressing nicely: 

• In-ground works consisting of shoring walls and foundation piles are around 75% complete, on track to be finished by the end of April.
• The new mobile crane has now been erected to assist with the loading out of materials and removal of demolition materials from the Quad building.
• The surplus of soil removal is nearing completion, on track to be finished before the holidays.
• Hard demolition works have been completed, aside from a small area in the south-east corner of Car Park 2 which will be undertaken before the holidays.
• During the final weeks of term, the work on new in-ground sewer and stormwater systems will commence.
• The forming up of the new ground floor slab areas will commence by mid-April – a five-week process. The first concrete pour is planned for the end of May. 
   

Food Technology Facilities Opening Term 2
 

We’re pleased to confirm that the new Food Technology facilities will be ready for use at the beginning of Term 2. These upgraded facilities include new vinyl flooring, wall tiling, stainless steel benches, rangehoods, and air conditioning, creating a modern and functional environment for students and staff.
